Siapa Maher Zain?

Maher Zain adalah penyanyi dan komposer Sweeden yang berasal dari Lubnan. Album pertama Maher Zain bertajuk ‘Thank You Allah’ telah berada di pasaran sejak November 2009 dan terjual berjuta-juta unit di seluruh dunia. Video klip lagu-lagu Maher Zain di youtube mendapat hits yang tinggi. Lagu The Choosen One di Youtube mendapat lebih 1 juta view di youtube dalam tempoh 2 bulan. Lagu Insha Allah telah mencecah 3 juta view dalam tempoh 5 bulan.

Maher Zain telah dilahirkan pada 1982 di Lubnan. Keluarga Maher Zain berpindah ke Sweeden pada usia beliau 8 tahun, dan meneruskan zaman sekolah di Sweeden. Pada usia 10 tahun, Maher Zain meperolehi alat muzik pertama beliau iaitu sebuah keyboard ataupun piano. Kemudian Maher Zain melanjutkan pelajaran ke universiti dan mempeolehi Ijazah Sarjana Muda Kejuruteraan Aeronautik. Semasa zaman remaja, Maher Zain memang suka lepak-lepak dengan member-member kat sekolah, bukan lepak kosong je, tetapi mereka menyanyi, rap, mencipta lagu dan bereksperimen dengan pelbagai rentak muzik.
